The European Career Fair, one of the largest transatlantic career fairs in the US, will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 29 January to 1 February 2010. Now in its 14th year, the annual event matches candidates from America’s leading universities with the top echelon of employers from Europe.

Located in Boston, the fair takes place at one of the educational hubs of America, home to some of the world's leading universities. As a result, in addition to experienced young professionals, strong attendance by students from institutions such as Harvard and MIT is typical. The three-day event will include interview sessions and personalized introductions, as well as seminars by leading industry executives and government institutions.

More than 30 German universities, research institutions and funding organisations will be present at the fair. In a workshop on 31 January, German exhibitors will give a presentation on research opportunities, career paths and funding opportunities in Germany.
