The German House of Science and Innovation São Paulo (DWIH) is an initiative of the German Federal Republic’s Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The aim of the DWIH is to strengthen the German-Brazilian Science and innovation network through information about existing scientific and R&D cooperation between universities, research institutions and innovative companies of the two countries.

Since its launch on April 12th, 2010 its website www.dwih.com.br welcomed more than 5,200 visitors from all over the world. Almost 28,000 page views were generated and the site is constantly improving e.g. implementing a "Videos & Downloads" section, a "Guestbook" as well as improving the start page design with more information about science "Events" and "News & Highlights".

Now the German House of Science and Innovation São Paulo is proud to announce the new functions of its website which are available from this week on:

1. The whole website is available in Portuguese!

2. Improved "Map of Science": Add a search function into the Map of Science overlay: Now one can just type the name of a university, project, keyword, cooperation subject, etc. and will be able to search in almost 300 German-Brazilian scientific cooperation.
