About "Research in Germany – Land of Ideas"
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched the initiative to "Promote Innovation and Research in Germany" in 2006. Under the brand "Research in Germany" several German organisations, such as the International Bureau of the BMBF, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Research Foundation and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft organise measures and events to present German innovation and research in key international markets. The initiative seeks to strengthen and expand R&D collaboration between Germany and international partners.
The “Research in Germany” portal is the central information platform of the initiative to "Promote Innovation and Research in Germany" and is maintained by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Editorial responsibility for the Portal lies with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
