Strengthening Competence Networks in Agricultural and Nutrition Research

By launching the competition “Competence networks in agricultural and nutrition research”, Germany aims to pool the strengths of Germany’s best agricultural research institutions.

Modern Biorefinery for Climate Protection and Resource Efficiency

The new, modern biorefinery research centre will use all parts of different plants – particularly those that are not needed in the food chain – for the production of chemical products, fuels, electricity and heat.

GABI FUTURE & GenoMik-Plus Programme

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), together with industry, funds basic and applied research in the areas of plant genome research, plant biotechnology, bioenergy and plant design, like the GABI FUTURE programme and the GenoMik-Plus programme.
