In Seoul, the Max Planck Society presented hands-on German research and so promoted exchange with the Korean researchers. A particular focus was provided by a walk through tunnel that enabled the visitors to experience top-class research at first hand.
Members of the Optec-Berlin-Brandenburg (OpTecBB) Network for Optical Technologies are creating new ties in South Korea. This leads to collaborations and platforms which can benefit the research in both countries as well as, and in particular, young companies.
The TU Berlin represents the German interests in Korea in the field of recycling and resource-friendly production. Many different measures contribute to successfully implementing ideas on the development and manufacturing of recyclable goods.
The Berlin Research Network ZEMI shows how productive German-Korean cooperation can be in the field of Microsystems Technology. Both partner countries demonstrated the highly-promising interplay between research and development at several levels at once.
