On 5 May 2012, the DAAD Information Centre in Bogotá, Colombia organised a “Research in Germany” Information Seminar in cooperation with the Colombian Ministry of Education and the research funding agency Colciencias. It was also the first “Research in Germany” event to be broadcast live via Internet, which allowed ten Colombian universities in the largest cities of the country to view the seminar online. In total, over 1,000 young scientists followed the event.
The participants of the “Research in Germany – Land of Ideas” MedTech Campaign by the Federal Ministry of Education and research (BMBF) will take part at World Congress 2012 Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering in Beijing from 25.05. - 31.05.2012.
As part of the BMBF Initiative "Research in Germany – Land of Ideas", Germany presents itself as a centre of medtech science and industry at the Hospitalar in Sao Paulo from 22 May till 25 May 2012.
Shigeyoshi Inoue is currently pursuing a career in chemistry at the Technical University Berlin. His field of research is the production and characterization of novel molecules.
