In the summer of 2012, RWTH Aachen University, Forschungszentrum Jülich and the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science will host an interdisciplinary five-day Young Researchers Transatlantic Academy. The theme of the 2012 Academy is energy.
Under the brand „Research in Germany – Land of Ideas“, the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Research Foundation, Fraunhofer and the Humboldt Foundation join forces and organise events from 18.02. - 31.03.2012 to present German innovation and research in India.
The German Foreign Minister, Dr. Guido Westerwelle, will inaugurate the German House of Science and Innovation in São Paulo and will hereby start the operating phase.
An upcoming panel discussion at the German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) will address how increased demand for diminishing natural resources will shape strategic international relationships in the 21st century. The event will take place on February 15, 2012.
