The Newsletter "Research in Germany" appears quarterly with news and information on the latest developments in German science and research. It includes up-to-date articles and interviews on collaborative international research as well as on appropriate sources of funding.
In the interview in this month’s issue of our newsletter, Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Erwin Neher talks about his research and the 64th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. Thirty-seven Nobel laureates from around the world will discuss a variety of subjects, with a focus on medicine and physiology. In addition, our newsletter reports on the prototype of a prosthesis that can actually feel and presents a potential new therapy for HIV patients with a geranium extract. Also, we look at Science Year 2014, which is dedicated to the subject of “The Digital Society”.
