As a cornerstone of the German government’s initiative to internationalize science and research, the German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) is dedicated to strengthening collaboration in science and technology between partners in Germany and North America.
Prof. Dr. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber is the Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and Professor of Theoretical Physics at Potsdam University. PIK addresses scientific questions in the fields of global change, climate impact and sustainable development.
The Indo German Innovation Platform on the 8th and the 9th of March is part of the EmTech 2010. The 8th of March will consist of presentations in the field of Life Sciences and the 9th of March will be dedicated to the field of Environmental Technology. The second event will be held at the head office of the Maratha Chambers of Commerce Industry and Agriculture in Pune on the 12th and 13th of March 2010 with its primary focus on Production Technology.

DaNa is an umbrella project aiming at collecting and evaluating scientific results in an interdisciplinary approach with scientists from different research areas, such as human and environmental toxicology, biology, physics and chemistry.
