Investigate what Germany can do for you!
Don’t miss the opportunity to discover how you can enhance your career, build your network and get in touch with German Research
Are you interested in finding the right fellowship opportunities or funding program for your research career?
Participate in the workshop “International Funding Opportunities” at the SfN-Meeting. Presenting will be Research in Germany, the European Research Council and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. For Research in Germany, a program officer from the German Research Foundation (DFG) will present specific funding instruments from the DFG and other German organizations designed to facilitate cooperation between researchers and fund research stays in Germany. There will be a particular focus on early career researchers.
Also, visit us at the “Research in Germany” information booth in the exhibition hall (booth #3325) or at our booth at the NeuroJobs Job Fair (booth #5). There you will have the opportunity to find out more about flexible individual funding for internships, graduate schools, postdoctoral programs, sabbaticals or funding possibilities for scientific collaboration.
Take part in an American-German conversation on Neuroscience and the Humanities.
Listen as four scientists and scholars from both sides of the Atlantic engage in an interdisciplinary dialogue in the emerging area of research between these two disciplines.
Come, mingle and network at the German Social. Get in touch with Germany at the XVIII Annual German Social. This reception facilitates an exchange of ideas, contacts, and information for scientists interes¬ted in research cooperation with and career opportu¬nities in Germany. And don’t forget to bring a colleague: German nationality is not required for attendance!
